What Type of System is Right for You?

Central Air Conditioning

Central air conditioning cools the air from a central location, typically outside and uses one or more fans to distribute the cool air through ductwork to separate rooms. Lennox® air conditioners are among the quietest and most energy-efficient units and allow you to control cooling, humidity levels and energy use by matching output to demand.

Air Source Heat Pump

Air source heat pumps provide efficient heating and cooling because they move heat rather than converting it from a fuel, like combustion heating systems do. In cooling mode, air source heat pumps work much like a central air conditioning unit by drawing heat from the indoor air and releasing it outdoors. Air source heat pumps provide heat while air conditioners do not.

Ductless Mini-Split

Ductless Mini-Split systems make good retrofit add-ons to houses with “non-ducted” heating systems or for relatively small areas. Mini-Split systems have two main components: an outdoor compressor/condenser, and an indoor air-handling unit. A ductless mini-split is great for conditioning individual rooms and is a flexible option for zone cooling.
